Italian A: Phonetics and Oral Proficiency

Forming the basis of this course are selected texts and TV/radio programmes that are used to develop the ability of students to understand Italian and to express themselves in different ways. This they learn to do by way of conversation and discussion. Timetabled and obligatory online seminars are held in a virtual classroom (no physical meetings). To take this course, students require internet connection, a headset with microphone and headphones, and a standalone camera.

Access to a computer (Not a mini pc, tablet or similar) that is not older than two years (or equivalent) and broadband connection, at least 2 Mbit/s (not mobile broadband, because mobile broadband can vary considerably in speed).

Means of Education:

Higher rate of web-based communication where our learning platform (Learn) is a natural element of the course. Web-based meetings with sound and image where simple presentations can be held. Lectures can be broadcast live or can alternatively be made available afterwards online.
