Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course, students shall be able to:
- use the most common phonetic terms to describe and analyze Italian pronunciation
- explain and reflect upon the main features of Italian pronunciation from a contrastive perspective
- understand standard spoken Italian in authentic situations
- discuss and express opinions about different subjects from an intercultural perspective by using everyday Italian and demonstrating adequate pronunciation
- plan and give a brief oral presentation in Italian.
