Learning outcomes for the course

The general objectives of the course are to provide the students with opportunities to develop their capacity to perform studies on a scientific basis within the area of industrial engineering and management and to report and communicate their analysis and conclusions in an objective, relevant and informed manner.
After completing the course, the course participants will be able to:

  • Plan and conduct an investigation in an independent manner,
  • Formulate and define problems within the area of industrial management and engineering on the basis of different perspectives and frames of reference,
  • Seek relevant information,
  • Analyze data and interpret findings,
  • Follow standard practices in terms of written reports and documentation of an investigation,
  • Critically examine texts and investigations.
