Learning outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course, the students shall be able to:
- use Italian, orally and in writing, to discuss the content of a selection of literary texts in the detective genre
- reflect on literary texts in the detective genre and relate them and their authors to each other on the basis of content and language
- identify and describe typical stylistic and literary features of the detective genre using elementary literary concepts
- explain how the Italian detective genre has developed during the 1900‘s and 2000‘s.
