Starts week 3, 2021
On completion of the course, the students should be able to:
- collect relevant linguistic or literary material in French for a scientific study and demonstrate theoretical knowledge of some chosen relevant and up-to-date research questions in the same area of specialisation
- demonstrate independence and the ability to solve problems, as well as a reflective approach
- write a theoretical work in acceptable French where students use methods appropriate for their work and can search for, and critically interpret, relevant sources, as well as analyse and summarise their results
- take into account and use different opinions from their supervisor and other students in order to work on their own texts
- analyse, discuss and critically evaluate another thesis in French in a constructive way at the oral examination
- demonstrate the correct reference techniques, accurate quotes and accurate and relevant bibliography
- defend their own degree thesis, in French, at the oral examination.
