Learning outcomes for the course
After completion of the course, students should be able to:
- in French critically read and comment on literary works from different periods and different interpretations of these texts
- describe the dominant tendencies of the 1900s literary theory, and be able to use the theoretical concepts in the analysis of literary texts
- critically discuss the concept frankofoni
- demonstrate a good knowledge of literature and scientific methodology
- apply their knowledge in an independent written literary analysis, written in excellent French, of a French-language literary work
- in excellent French orally defend their independent work .
