Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:- collect relevant linguistic or literary material in French for a scientific study and demonstrate theoretical knowledge of some chosen relevant and up-to-date research questions in the same area of specialisation
- demonstrate a high degree of independence and the ability to solve problems
- write a theoretical work in varied and almost completely grammatically correct French. Students use methods appropriate for their work and can search for and critically interpret relevant sources, as well as analyse and summarise their results.
- take on board and use different opinions from their supervisor and other students in order to work on their own texts
- analyse, discuss and critically evaluate another Master degree thesis in French in a constructive way at the oral examination
- defend their own degree thesis in French at the oral examination.
