Learning outcomes for the course
After completing the course, students shall be able to:- interact orbally and in writing in both prepared and spontaneous situations in French
- apply basic skills in French grammar in grammatical analyses and in this way demonstrate proficiency in the structure of French
- read longer texts in French, both authentic and doctored, and with the help of dictionaries analyze and translate them
- write their own short texts in French
- show some basic knowledge of French society as well as of the French-speaking world
- identify systematic similarities and differences between Swedish and French with regards to pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.
