Learning outcomes for the course
After completing the course, students should be able to:
- interact verbally and in writing in French, in both prepared and spontaneous situations
- read longer texts in French, both authentic and doctored, and using dictionaries, analyze and translate them
- write their own short texts in French, both standalone and in the form of textual commentary
- present an aspect of the French-speaking countries culture and society
- identify systematic similarities and differences between the Swedish and the French language regarding pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary
- apply basic skills in French grammar in grammatical analyzes and demonstrate proficiency in French language structure.
