Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course, the students shall, in French, be able to:
- apply inter- and transcultural perspectives on literature from the French-speaking world
- in their own text analyse and discuss how literature from the French-speaking world meets readers from France
- in their own text analyse and discuss how literature from the French-speaking world in translated form meets readers from other linguistic areas
- apply key perspectives in translation theory as well as reflect on how social and cultural contexts affect translation practices.
