ecoINSIDE is a project about climate-driven growth. Through commitment to green economic
development through cross-border cooperation, the project will achieve added value and solve
environmental and climate challenges. This will be done by utilizing different skills and strengths, and establish cooperation between business, research and innovation environments across the border.
Within building technology, waste and solar technology there is a basis for partnerships and
potential for achieving crossborder added value.
Within the focus area solar energy, Dalarna University is working with:
• Strengthening the University's solar energy master program by:
o Having more specialist guest lecturers
o In-depth technical tours to partners in the project
o Active network of R&D organisations and companies that can offer student project work and thesis projects
• Strengthen collaboration with R&D groups in the regions
• Develop a course for purchasers of solar energy systems
• Support companies in developing new products and services
