Description
The project aims to develop technology and systems for district heating in newly built low energy houses. The heat load is increased by converting devices that normal is electrically heated to be heated by district heating like white products, towel dryers, comfort floor heat and air heaters in ventilation units.

New non conventional installation solutions are developed that minimizes piping, costs and heat losses. Heat-fed dishwashers, washing machines and tumble dryers are developed and demonstrated in 200 apartments.

Heat-fed white goods means that hot water circulates through one in the machine built-in heat exchanger cover the heating demand instead for an electric heater as in conventional machines.
