I work as a lecturer and tutor mainly within the screenwriting program. My research is about artistic, audiovisual aspects of script development and film storytelling. As contact person for the Nordfilm.net network, I work for internationalization with Nordic and Baltic schools.
Before starting my academic career, I worked professionally in the media industry as a director, producer, screenwriter and dramaturg for TV, film, radio and theater for 25 years. My education was a bachelor's degree at the Dramatic Institute's film/television directing line.
My research concerns artistic methods for cinematic world building as well as alternative story structures in screenplays. The research has been presented at international conferences, at the department's higher seminars, in a peer-reviewed article and in a number of abstracts.
