Library Guidance

Do you have questions about information retrieval, references, or academic material? Library staff can help students and employees at Dalarna University with these questions during drop-in times or pre-booked appointments.

Practical information about drop-in

  • You will join a waiting room when you enter Zoom. The librarian will let you in when it is your turn.
  • You do not need to have your camera on.
  • You can attend on your own or with somebody else.
  • You can share your screen in Zoom.
  • You can use the web version of Zoom or download the app.

Book a Time

Students and staff can book an individual guidance session on Zoom with a librarian. This will enable us to give you more in-depth help with, for example:

  • using keywords
  • structuring your search strategy and selecting appropriate databases
  • answering your reference questions and using the reference management programs Zotero and EndNote

E-form – book a time.

Note: Before you meet us, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with Guide: Search in Databases and/or the page on Referencing, depending on what you need help with.
