Is the library open as usual due to Corona?
You are welcome to the library as usual, but remember to keep your distance from others.

Are the group rooms and the quiet reading rooms open as usual?
The rooms are open as usual and you are welcome to use them. But remember to keep your distance from others

Is this there something I have to consider when I visit the Library?
Follow the restrictions that exist and especially think about keeping your distance from others.

Can I get help with information retrieval and reference management?
You can book assistance by submitting the form Book an appointmant with a librarian. All tutorials and teaching are now web-based.

Can I get books sent to my home address?
If you are a Dalarna University student or staff member resident in Sweden although outside of Falun or Borlänge municipalities, you may request that books be sent to your home address. To request that a book be sent to your home address, you can reserve it in Summon and choose “Home delivery”.
You are required to pay the cost of return postage. If you live in Dalarna, you can return the book to your local library at no cost.

Can I return books without visiting the library?
You can always return books in the book slot outside the entrance of the library in Falun. To return books in the book slot in Borlänge, you must first enter the campus building and you might need your keycard. 

If you do not want to come to the library to return your books, you can simply send them to us.
