The School of Technology and Business Studies has its base at Campus Borlänge. It affords students an international and interdisciplinary undergraduate and research environment, while offering courses and programmes in both Swedish and English at all academic levels.

It is the needs of the present-day job market that help us develop our courses and programmes, while  internationalisation and scientific research are also crucial in their development.

We educate tomorrow’s experts in Engineering, Economics, Business, Energy Technology, Graphic Design, Human Resources, Tourism Development and Computer Sciences.

As a student in any of our programmes, you will acquire the tools and competence you require to be successful in your future professional life. You will have the opportunity both to establish contacts within business and industry, as well as to make use of current research as you pursue your education.

Although the School conducts research in a number of subject areas, our main research is focused within three of the six priotised fields of research at Dalarna University: Complex Systems – Microdata Analysis; Energy, Forests and Built Environments; and Steel Forming and Surface Engineering.

Dalarna University currently offers a doctoral programme in Complex Systems - Microdata Analysis.
