Professor Statistics, Statistics

I perform research and teach in statistics at Dalarna University. I am a professor since 2012.

I completed my PhD thesis in 2003 at SLU in Uppsala on the topic  "Selection, Maternal Effects and Inbreeding in Reindeer Husbandry".  The thesis includes both applied and theoretical research in ecology and animal genetics, with a focus on reindeer husbandry.

After completion of my doctoral thesis, my research has focused on developments of linear mixed models in a broad sense including spatial modelling and modelling of the residual variance. In 2017, I published a book on the topic together with professors Y. Lee and M. Noh.
