Since the first of December 2023, he hold the position as Acting Vice-Chancellor of Dalarna University until a new Vice-Chancellor has been appointed and has taken office.
He has worked as a senior lecturer and researcher at Dalarna University since the early 1990s. In 2002, he received a Ph.D. in Business Studies at Uppsala University. In 2009, he was appointed associate professor at the same university. He became Professor in Business Studies in 2019 and in the same year he was appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor with responsibility for research at Dalarna University. Currently, he hold the position as acting Vice-Chancellor of Dalarna University.
