This course comprises the advanced study of different areas within English Linguistics. The content varies from term to term, but in the Autumn term of 2012 the following modules are available: English in the World and English Words and their Structure. Modules from the Spring terms can also be used to complete the course. Students also write an independent degree project in English linguistics. This can also have a didactic focus.
