Welcome to online studies at the Department of French at Dalarna University!
All our courses are online and require no on-campus meetings, but they usually have mandatory on-line seminars.
To study with us, you will require Internet access, a headset with microphone and webcam, as well as course literature.
We offer courses from the beginner level to level 2. You can take a single course of 7.5 credits or course packages of 30 credits.
Please note, we no longer use the word "distance" or the phrase "studying French at distance". Rather, we use "web-based learning", which corresponds to how we work at Dalarna University. Studying French web-based means that you can access dynamic websites, live and recorded lectures, virtual meeting rooms and interactive seminars. It is in particular our online seminars with webcam and headset that distinguish us from others.
