Russia's central TV channel recently broadcast an hour-long documentary film about doping. The film includes interviews with Dalarna University's Professor Michail Tonkonogi, who provides expert information about the effects of doping on the human body.
The film also includes sequences that were recorded in the sport halls and labs that are part of Dalarna Univeristy.
Russia 1 is one of the two national TV channels that reach all of Russia and 98.5 percent of its population. It also reaches 50 million viewers in Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries.

Michail Tonkonogi is Professor of Sport Physiology. Born in 1967 in the then Soviet Union, he graduated in 1989 from the State Institute of Physical Culture in Lvov.
