Dalarna University participates in all major international student exchange programmes. It also has exchange agreements with many universities and colleges around the world.
Information about our Partner Universities
Note! List of partner universities in Europe updated again on January 27 2012.
The online application is available at My Pages (www.du.se). Go to the link "Forms for outbound exchange". Remember to send an email to ioffice@du.se and attach the following so that your application can be considered complete:
1. A personal motivation letter, written in English (minimum 0.5 A4 page to maximum 2 A4 pages). Address this to Dalarna University and not the partner university. Provide information about why you are interested in an exchange and why you have made your particular choices of partner universities/countries.
2. A study plan - with clear information about how the exchange period is planned to be part of your degree from our university.
This is necessary for all non-programme students.
3. Any certificates you wish to include must be sent no later than January 31. Make sure to provide contact details. If you have studied at another Swedish university, please include a transcript of records.
For more information, take part in one of our information meetings in Borlänge, Falun or online via Connect, or email ioffice@du.se.

Internships
Grants are available for internships in Europe. To apply, you must have an agreement with a company or an organisation to do a 3- to 12-month internship. As a rule, you are responsible for arranging this yourself. You can apply for an internship even if it is not an obligatory part of your study programme.
