Graduation Day 2012
In previous years, the Graduation Day ceremony has been a rather individual affair. This year, however, there have been some major changes and instead the ceremony will now involve a student fair as well as presentations. The day has been organised so that the student fair will be held in the morning, along with the presentations, while the traditional ceremony will take place in the afternoon.
The venue for the event is Galaxen in Borlänge on June 7. Last date to registrer was Avril 30. Regristration is now closed
Student Fair and Presentations
The student fair and student presentations form a new concept for Dalarna University. The purpose of the student fair is to give students the chance to demonstrate their degree projects, advanced study projects or other such meritable projects from their portfolios for possible employers. This will further serve to promote a relationship between the university and the world of business and industry.
Running parallel to the student fair will be the student presentations in the various conference rooms. These presentations will give students the chance to get a moment in the spotlight to show and describe their work or project to an audience. At the end of each presentation, there will also be time for questions.
The fair will be an excellent opportunity for students to meet their colleagues of tomorrow, and to see and experience the competence levels that exist among Dalarna University students. Come along and meet the newly graduated students and find out about their work.
