Welcome to Dalarna University!
Established in 1977, Dalarna University is relatively new among Swedish universities. Located 200 kilometres north-west of Stockholm in the province of Dalarna, its current student numbers stand at 18 000 with over 50 % registered in web-based distance courses. On-campus studies take place in the two major towns of Borlänge and Falun, the administrative capital of the province.
