Research

Dalarna University has for several years implemented e-learning; with lectures and seminars offered in realtime online and with an increased portion of web based studies.

There is therefore a considerable amount of empirical knowledge, divided among several experienced teachers and administrators who all know what it means to have web based students. Through the NGL-programme we will emphasize on researching the field of next generation learning and through the field of Technology-mediated knowledge processes in the university and in professional life. We are studying the changes in knowledge processes in and between individuals and organisations in a time of accelerating usage of information and communication technologies.

The research section of the NGL-programme consists of a number of activities, with the graduate school of Technology-mediated knowledge processes - a cooperation between Dalarna University and Örebro University, playing a central role.
