Dalarna has a strong tradition of technical enterprise and initiative. Högskolan Dalarna cultivates and develops this tradition in close cooperation with the region’s large and small industries, and the Industry Development and Leadership Programme is a perfect example of this. A special focus of this programme is practical work experience within a company, which works to the benefit of both the students and companies involved.
Material Design and Production Technique are examples of programmes that we have developed in cooperation with the business community.
A preparatory year of study in Natural and Technical Science provides a good foundation in developing your knowledge in these areas. This can also be used towards further education in our Engineering Programme.
