A language can open many new doors. The Portuguese language is spoken in Angola, Brazil, Goa, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Macau, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and East-Timor. By learning Portuguese you can have access to many cultures.

Portuguese is a new subject under development at Dalarna and can be studied on distance. The lessons focus on developing oral and written language proficiency and offer the students the opportunity to approach the Portuguese-speaking world from an intercultural perspective.
