Italian

We are glad you will be studying Italian with us!

The Italian Department at Högskolan Dalarna was the first in Sweden to offer distance courses in Italian via the Internet (2003). Thanks to our experience, and as the only institution in the country, we can offer beginners and undergraduate courses at levels 1-2 as distance courses. Regardless of where you are in the world you can follow our courses on the Internet. All you need is access to a computer, an internet connection, a headset and a webcam.

Through our collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in Stockholm we receive continuous information about Italian cultural events in Sweden.

The Italian Department is able to offer you: experienced teachers, a language education which provides you with excellent grammatical knowledge as well as knowledge about the Italian culture, history and society.

Each course has its own web page where you can find information on the course. You can find these pages under Kurser HT11 - Corsi semestre autunnale 2011 on the left-side menu of this page in swedish.

Before the beginning of courses we also suggest that you read our FAQ (Frequently asked questions). You can find them in Italian, Swedish and English. They can offer you all the information you need to be successful in your studies with us. The FAQs are available in the swedish version of this page.

Högskolan Dalarna does not offer a bachelor's degree with Italian as a major.
