Computer Engineering

The subject Computer engineering treats computers, software and their applications. The interplay between machine and software is central, as are construction methods for computer systems in different areas such as artificial intelligence, operating system, computer network, computer architecture, simulation, real-time programming, compiler engineering et c. Studies contain lectures, experiments and project work where theory and practical work are mixed. You will encounter various types of computers and software development environments.

At Högskolan Dalarna there are orientations directed towards intelligent systems, mainly in the transportation sector.
There is an international master programme with orientation intelligent systems within the subject. The programme contains courses such as Fuzzy Logic, Neural networks, AI and picture analysis.
