One-Year Master Programme in Tourism Destination Development, 60 credits

THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO STUDENTS WHO PLAN TO COMMENCE THEIR STUDIES IN AUGUST 2013

This one-year Master Programme in Tourism Destination Development combines theoretical knowledge with experience of application and practical use. Students become acquainted with and take part in ongoing research projects and issues relevant for the development of both international tourism destinations and regional tourism destinations in Dalarna. The aim of the programme is for students to achieve a broad understanding of the opportunities and limitations that come with developing tourism destinations in a sustainable way.

The programme is suitable for students with a bachelor's degree with a major in Tourism Studies, Business Administration and Management, Human Geography, Economics, or similar fields.
