Master Programme in English with Specialisation in Literature in English, 60 credits

This Master’s Degree Programme is based on the research that is produced in the English Department at Dalarna University in the fields of Irish, British, American and Postcolonial literatures. Since 2004 over 70 students have graduated from our programme and most of them are currently working in the field of education. A number of our graduates have gone on to doctoral studies, both in Sweden as well as abroad.

Who should study English with Specialisation  in Literature in English?

Successful candidates to the programme are those who are interested in becoming part of the international field of English Literature studies, or who have a general interest in literature and culture. The programme is suitable for students with a bachelor’s degree with a major in English, Comparative Literature, or similar fields.
