The thesis is an important part of the program.  The student can start the thesis at the beginning of each period (4 periods per year) and has 10 weeks to complete his thesis.  Before the start, the student needs to have completed 4 D-level courses.

Students who apply either will proposed a subject (and therefore have already took contact with the supervisor) either the department will fix a subject for the student.

Coming thesis defences

 The defense will be around 2 weeks after the submission

The next thesis defense will be February the 13th.

Students should submit 4 printed copies to their supervisor before Monday February the 6th and an electronic version to their supervisor be email.

Each examination will last 45 minutes. The Students will be expected to speak for 15-20 minutes to give an overview of their work. This is expected to cover the main points of the work and focus on what the main contribution to the subject is.
