International Business Marketing, 180 ECTS-credits

The International Business Marketing (IBM) program at Dalarna University College offers a unique program entirely in English with a focus on business operations and marketing in an international setting.  This is the program for you who want a bachelor degree in Business Administration or a Swedish ekonomie kandidat and at the same time want to improve your English skills.

The aim of this program is to prepare students to handle tasks and jobs in companies, public and private organisations, acting in the local or global market where international business knowledge is important. The program has a focus on business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) marketing areas, and the emphasis is to demonstrate how companies and organisations are operating. In addition this program will stress companies’ and organisation’s internal communication and their relation to the outside world, in particular the interaction between companies/organisations and existing as well as potential customers. In order for students to understand companies’ actions, strategies, and organisation, basic knowledge about environmental forces’ effect, e.g. tax law, norms and regulations.

The IBM program offers a bachelor degree that enables students to choose to start working or continue their studies for a master degree. Dalarna University  offers one year master programs, taught in English, specializing on e.g. international business in China, European Tourism and Economics.
