Language Study Support
Language Support at Dalarna University provides help and support in both English and Swedish to students; please note, however, that Language Support is not available to students registered in English courses.
Between weeks 7 and 14 and weeks 16 and 20, we can help you with:
- Grammar
- Sentence construction
- Vocabulary (using appropriate words or expressions)
Writing is a process and as such we encourage you to send your text to us even if it is incomplete. Through earlier identification of and discussions about language problems, we are better able to help you improve your writing and ultimately the completed text.
Here is how language support works:
- Write your text then use the spelling and grammar check available on your computer.
- Send your text to us via e-mail:

Together we decide on one of the following locations, weeks, days and times to meet with you, discuss your text and suggest improvements:
On campus in Falun: location to be decided on between teacher and student

Week 7 - 14, 16 -20
Fridays 1300 - 1500
