How To Apply
Dalarna University has not yet implemented tuition fees!
Before you apply, please read the “Entrance requirements” carefully! All applicants should apply online through Studera.nu
As we have not yet implemented any tuition fees, we do not offer any scholarship programmes through Dalarna University. For possibilities of scholarships, see the information about scholarships from the
Swedish Institute.
Applicants from non-EEA countries must apply for visas to study in Sweden, this process can take a long time, therefore, all non-EEA Nationals should apply in the “early application round”.
- For admission in January, please apply online between June-August*.
- For admission in August, please apply online between December- January*.
Applicants from the EEA and Switzerland, who do not need visas, should apply in the “later application round”.
- For admission in January, please apply online between September-October*.
- For admission in August, please apply online between March-April*.

N.B! Please observe the requirements for residence permits if you have been admitted to a 3-year Bachelor's programme. The application fee for a residence permit is 1000 SEK. Necessary to show that you have fundings to cover the whole study period when you apply (219 000 SEK = 23 050 € for three years)
You may apply for Masters' level programmes at Högskolan Dalarna during the last semester of your bachelor's education. Bring your Degree certificate in order to be allowed to register!
