The University Faculty Board at Dalarna University recently passed a resolution that means that students can now study up to the Bachelor of Arts level at the university.
For many years now, students have been able to study up to 90 credits in Spanish in free-standing courses. Now they can study towards a Bachelor of Arts, specialising in either literature or linguistics.
"This is, of course, a huge boost for the Spanish Department as well as for students," states Agnès Sandin, Section Head of Languages in the School of Languages and Media Studies at Dalarna University.
